Polaris Parks is proud to welcome Egypt as the latest member of the prestigious Industrial Transition Accelerator (ITA) program. As the third country in the Middle East and North Africa—following the UAE and Bahrain—to join this pioneering initiative, Egypt takes a bold step toward industrial decarbonization and global competitiveness.
A Landmark for Industrial Transformation
In a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi, Egypt was officially welcomed into the ITA by the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Industrial Modernization Center (IMC)—represented by Duaa Salima. Through this collaboration, Egypt gains access to transformative frameworks designed to fast-track clean industrial solutions across high-emitting sectors.
Unlocking a $100 Billion Opportunity
The announcement unveils a pipeline of clean industrial projects totaling over $100 billion across Egypt and the wider MENA region. These regional programs aim to boost demand for green products, build low-carbon value chains, and unlock financing solutions that de-risk investments.
Alignment with Egypt’s National Vision
By joining the ITA, Egypt reinforces its strategy to elevate the industrial sector’s contribution from 14% to 20% of GDP by 2030. With extensive energy infrastructure, expanding renewables, and a strategic geographic position, the country is poised to become a global supplier of low-carbon industrial goods.
